Fast Friends: Navigating Intermittent Fasting Together! ๐Ÿฅ—๐Ÿ•ง

Hey there! ๐Ÿ˜‡

ย

As you know, Iโ€™m very committed to intermittent fasting (IF) right now, trying to lose weight and getting healthy. โœจ You are too huh? Got invested from our last research on this? ๐Ÿ˜ I totally get itโ€”we like losing the kilos and feeling all healthy! ๐Ÿ™Œ Let's unpack this together more and see how we can make it work for us as we strive to make this work? Letโ€™s go!

ย

Okay, so intermittent fasting---to recapโ€”it's basically like giving our body a little break from eating for a while. Not like starving ourselves or anything, but just taking some time off from eating a lot. ๐Ÿ˜ Now, there are a bunch of ways to do this whole IF thing, but let's start with something simple: the 12-hour fasting method. ๐Ÿ•› Basically, we pick a 12-hour window where we don't eat anything, like from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Easy peasy, right? Plus, most of that time, we'll be asleep, so it's pretty doable in my opinion. ๐Ÿค”

ย

Next one and this is what Iโ€™ve started doing, is whatโ€™s called the 16:8 method. ๐Ÿ•ง Wherein we fast for 16 hours and then have an 8-hour window to eat. In my case, my eating window is 12nn-8pm every day. Which I find easy to tolerate and practically a new normal for me now. ๐Ÿ˜Š

ย

But if all else fail or our body becomes accustomed to our current fast, thereโ€™s always the 5:2 diet, where we eat normally for five days and then dial it back a bit on the other two. Like, we're talking 500-600 calories on those days. ๐Ÿ™ˆ It's kind of like a mini-challenge, but it could be fun to mix things up a bit, I guess? I would like to extra stress out that this would be very much a challenge. Especially for me! I really like eating... ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ

ย

Another point I wanted to research and share today is how we should break the fast? I mean it makes sense that the first thing we eat after a fast would be the most important and beneficial right? And some experts do say that breaking our fast with the Mediterranean diet, which is as we know is a good anti-inflammatory and very healthy diet is the best way. ๐Ÿฅ— So, it means our supplementing with โœจOleia Softgelsโœจ will be great too! ๐Ÿคฉ

ย

When it comes to fasting and breaking our fast, itโ€™s a purely individual choice on how well we can tolerate it. Remember that seeking the advice of our healthcare professionals before starting the fast is always a good thing! ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš•๏ธ Staying hydrated, eating nutrient-rich foods and maybe getting a buddy to do it with (pick meeee! ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ) can help us stay on track and feel amazing.

ย

So, what do you think, dear reader? Ready to give intermittent fasting a whirl? Let's do this together and see where it takes us on our journey to feeling fabulous! ๐ŸŒŸ Keep me in loop when you start? Show me your bottle and Iโ€™ll show you mine? โ€˜Til next time! ๐Ÿ‘‹
