Hey there! 😄
I’ve noticed a lot of people on TikTok tracking their protein intake lately.
And I get it. There’s something satisfying about knowing you actually hit your protein goal for the day. And we need the gains, am I right? 😝
But then I started wondering: are people tracking fiber, too?
Because protein seems to have become the celebrity nutrient lately, while fiber is quietly doing its thing in the background.
Why Does Fiber Matter?
Fiber helps with digestion and fullness, and it also plays a role in blood sugar and cholesterol management. For adults, 25–30g or more of fiber daily is widely recommended, but most of us (myself included 🙋🏻) probably miss that mark.
How Do We Add More Fiber?
Getting there doesn’t necessarily mean eating a bowl of lettuce with every meal. 😂
A banana, some vegetables with lunch, monggo with dinner, a handful of nuts, or choosing whole fruit instead of juice can all add fiber to your day. Beans, lentils, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds are all good sources.
It’s also one of those things you’ll want to increase gradually if your usual diet isn’t particularly high in fiber. Your stomach may have opinions otherwise.
So maybe when you’re keeping track of your 100 grams of protein, give fiber a little space in the notes, too.
And while you’re taking care of what goes on your plate, Oleia Softgels can also be part of your daily wellness routine, supporting the body’s natural response to inflammation.
Protein gets the TikTok spotlight. Fiber probably deserves a little screen time, too.
Show me your bottle and I’ll show you mine? ’Til next time! 🥗
