Hey there! 👣
I absolutely love traveling. ✈️🚙 I mean who doesn’t, right? Seeing different sights, taking in a different culture and FOOD--- oh all the food! 😋 May it be an international trip or a local trip, there’s always something new to experience and see. Whenever I travel though one thing that is an absolute essential for me and I can’t leave my house without is my bottle of Oleia Oil. It’s always packed neatly among my essentials as this little bottle holds the key to keeping my adventures pain-free and full of energy.
One of my particularly memorable one was when my friends and I went to Busan in South Korea. We love traveling whenever the weather in our chosen destination is cold. You know, as a resident of a country with only two seasons 🔥🌧️, we like traveling to ones with four, and especially like to time it during autumn or winter, “para makakita ng colors ng autumn or para maka-experience ng snow” 😂
So with that, we set off---to the land of kpop, samgyupsal, skincare and more! And as tourists do, we walked---we walked, ate and walked and ate, walked and walked---and ate. 🚶♀️You get the picture, right? LOL. It was an average of 20,000 steps a day, which in my everyday life during that time, I barely get 2,000 in. 🙈 I also had a recent-ish injury back then with Kinder and my knee (ifykyk 😝). So it was roooough when we get to the end of the day.
All of us with legs aching, a lot of fried chicken orders in hand, trudging towards our hotel powering through the steps towards the room and collapsing on the nearest sofa or floor or bed (whatever comes first, we’re so tired 😂). Eating our fried chicken, one by one getting ready for our night of rest. The bottle of Oleia passing hands throughout, applying very liberally all over our legs and feet, then propping them up against a wall or a mountain of pillows. Aaaaah the relief in that moment 😌 incomparable.
When we woke up the next day, expecting some lingering leg ache---and there was none. Of course there was none! We used Oleia! LOL. There’s always a marked difference during nights we forget to put this remarkable oil. It’s like a hangover, Oleia is when you remember to drink water when you’ve drank a lot, and the alternative is an insane dehydration headache and nausea. 🤢
So, there we face, another day of new experiences. We had the best time just getting lost, eating in a random restaurant, buying skincare (this is a me thing, I just drag them to accompany me, such great friends ) and goodness gracious MORE walking---and our biggest hurdle at the time---Taejongdae Park with ALL the stairs. 🙈 So thanks to ✨Oleia✨ that we get to experience all that without pain and always face the day with feet and legs renewed. Show me your bottle and I’ll show you mine? ‘Til next time! 💋
